Dave is a 1987 graduate of the University of Arizona with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. He is President of Bartholomew Water Services, Inc., founded in 2008. His company specializes in the Operation & Maintenance of residential and commercial onsite systems as well as privately owned wastewater collection systems (sewers), lift stations, force mains, stormwater systems, and reclaim/reuse water facilities. His company territory covers the entire State of Arizona.
He has close to 30 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry. 17 of those years were spent at the PGA South Super Fund Project as Head of Operations at the Phoenix-Goodyear Airport.
Dave was certified as a Systems Inspector by NAWT in 2006 and has since received training in Soils Evaluation, Systems Design, and Systems Inspection. He is OSHA HazWOPER certified and holds certifications as a Wastewater Collection Systems Operator, Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator, and Water Treatment Plant Operator.
Dave currently serves as Vice-Chair on the ADEQ Onsite Wastewater Advisory Committee, which advises the State of Arizona in key matters involving our industry.
Dave joined the AzOWRA Board of Directors in 2009, served as President in 2013, and continues to serve as a Board of Directors member.
The Bartholomew family is now three generations deep in the effort to protect Arizona's precious water resource and the health of its people.
