My name is Dave Bartholomew. I’m the founder and CEO of Bartholomew Water Services, Inc.
I went to school to be an artist but soon discovered that’s a hard way to make a living.
Fortunately, my dad was a local water engineer in Maricopa County, Arizona.
When I went to him, asking for a job, he gave me a device called a water sounder and said:
“Here’s a list of 175 groundwater wells that need to have level readings taken. You have 48 hours to do that. Go!”
Nearly 30 years later, I’ve become a water and wastewater industry expert.

Seventeen of those years were spent as Head of Operations at the Phoenix-Goodyear Airport.
Among other certifications I hold, I’m a Wastewater Collection Systems Operator, a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator, and a Water Treatment Plant Operator.
