Who Has Sewer Ownership
If you live anywhere in the State of Arizona—the answer is likely YOU!
You wouldn’t believe how many Homeowners Associations I talk to that don’t know this.
It’s not their fault.
Back in 2005, the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) overhauled the laws on sewer ownership and a bunch of other vital water systems.
In my opinion, they handled the roll-out for this information poorly.
The bottom line is this: if you own a condo or townhome, or you’re part of a gated community in the State of Arizona, you likely have a privately owned sewer.
Which means that the city won’t take care of it.
You have to.
Shocking, right?
Now you see why it pays to know a good water specialist in Arizona.
My name is Dave Bartholomew. I’m the founder and CEO of Bartholomew Water Services, Inc.
